The outing at Silver went very well with 39 participants.  The rough was high due to all the rain and there was a real premium for staying in the fairway.

The Zia Seniors Golf Club has members that range in age from 50 to 85+.  The Board would like your input in establishing a Super Senior Flight for members 75 and older that would play forward tees.  Any member 75 and older

would have the option of which tees they played.  This option would likely keep more Super Seniors playing in Zia. Please inform me or any Board Member how you feel about such a change.

There will be two Board vacancies after this year.  Both the President and Vice-President will rotate off the Board. If you or anyone you know would be interested in serving, please contact a Board Member.  The Board needs some new

blood and leadership.

The September Tournament is at Painted Dunes in El Paso on the 6th and is a Two Man Best Ball.  Get a partner and get your entries to Bob early.  If you do not have a partner, we will get one for you.
