Greeting Fellow Zia Members:

Zia Seniors recently lost another dear founding member.  Dan Docherty was a Zia Board Member for the first 6-7 years of our organization. 

 He was a longtime friend to many of us and will be missed.

The Links Tournament had a good turnout of 37 members considering the distance many had to travel.  

The weather cooperated and we had a good event.  Congratulations to all the winners.

Our last event before the Club Championship is on Tuesday, October 7, at 10:00 am at White Sands GC. 

 It will be a two man team event using the Stableford Scoring System. Find a partner and get your entry fees into

Bob Nelson by the end of the month.  If you do not have a partner, let Lee or John know and they will partner you with someone.

After the Links Tournament, a Nike Sand wedge was turned in to the Pro Shop.  Someone picked it up thinking it belonged to a friend. 

Apparently, it did not.  If you have it or lost it, please let one of the Board Members know and we will make every effort to get it back to the owner.
